The Launch of the Molloy Metal sponsored Wexford footballers v Wexford hurlers whitecollar boxing took place in White’s Hotel, Wexford last night.
The Chairman, Ger Doyle, in his address welcomed everyone and especially the main sponsor John Molloy of Molloy Metals, Ballycarney, John McEvoy (Whitecollar Boxing), Billy Walsh and Jason Ryan. A special welcome was also extended to all the players and their families. He hoped that everyone will get behind this venture with all funds raised going to the Wexford hurlers and footballers training fund.
The atmosphere in the room was electric with excitement building up. Preparations are in full swing and the players have commenced rigourous training in preparation for Thursday 15th December. They are really looking forward to the night out with tickets selling like hot cakes.
Tickets are available from all county football and hurling panel members as well as the office in Wexford GAA Park. Business establishments around Wexford are encouraged to purchase tickets and make this special night “A Party Night Out” for staff – what better way to get into the festive spirit. A ticket to this event in White’s Hotel would be an ideal Christmas gift.
