We’ve recently seen players emerging from our development squads who are now making an impact at u-21 and senior but we need this to continue and as we’ve seen the bar keep rising so the work goes on. This weekend saw all our talent academies in action in tournaments &
blitzes and all acquitted themselves well against the best in Leinster, to the pleasure of their management teams who felt all teams made a good effort and are reasonably happy with their progress.
North u 14 beat Laois and lost to Kilkenny
South u14 beat Kildare and Kilkenny and lost to Dublin
North u15 beat Dublin and lost to Laois and Kilkenny
South u15 won all three games, beating Dublin, Laois and Kilkenny
U16 (Wex 1-mixed panel) beat Galway and Carlow
U16 (Wex 2- mixed panel) beat Westmeath and Laois and lost to Offaly.
