Wexford GAA is delighted to announce they have again renewed their agreement with Halo Tiles for the naming rights of the Halo Tiles Wexford GAA Centre of Excellence at Ferns.
Halo Tiles have supported the Centre of Excellence since it first opened in 2015, and the new agreement will run until 2030.
Speaking at the announcement, Patrick Doyle, Managing Director of Halo Tiles & Bathrooms, said: ‘We are proud to be associated with the Centre of Excellence, which showcases the best of Wexford gaelic games across all age groups and all codes. In addition, we are looking forward to seeing the further development of the venue in the coming years.’
John Kenny, Cathaoirleach of Wexford GAA, said that Halo Tiles have been a long-standing supporter of Wexford GAA and that he was delighted to renew the partnership with them.
‘All in Wexford GAA share my gratitude for the ongoing support of Halo Tiles, and pride in how the Centre of Excellence continues to evolve into one of the best facilities of its type, anywhere in the country. It is always a hub of activity, with several Go Games blitzes and school events held there each year as well as serving as a base for all our county teams and development squads. And of course, we are currently looking forward to hosting Division 1 Hurling and Camogie of the National Féile na nGael there on Saturday June 21st next,’ he said.
‘Since our naming rights agreement was last renewed, we have expanded to seven pitches (including four floodlit pitches), installed a new entrance way from the former N11 route, and signed a historic Memorandum of Agreement with Wexford Camogie Association and LGFA regarding usage and further development.
‘Future plans include the provision of a full-sized 4G pitch and the construction of additional dressing rooms, an upgraded high-performance gym, and a performance data analysis room. I thank everyone involved in all that has been done so far, and all who are currently involved in working to bring these plans to fruition,’ he added.
The company was originally founded by the late Tom and Sheila Doyle in 1972. Tom had a long-standing involvement in GAA affairs in many ways, and his son Patrick is proud to follow in those footsteps.
The company is headquartered at an impressive showroom in Camolin, while it also has a showroom in Midleton (Co. Cork) and plans to open another in Sandyford (Dublin). In addition, it supplies to almost 50 other tile retailers throughout Ireland and Northern Ireland.
