Glen Fuels Wexford GAA Player of the Year Awards:
On Friday 4th March Wexford Gaels will gather together for the Glen Fuels Wexford GAA Player of the Year Awards at the Riverside Park Hotel, Enniscorthy to pay tribute to the men and women of the GAA who have brought distinction and glory to their county in 2015.
Now in its fourth year this high profile event, organised in association with the Wexford Supporters Club, is a firm fixture on the social calendar of team members, supporters of GAA and supporters of County Wexford in general.
Glen Fuel Services Ltd is one of the longest established distributors of oil products throughout the South and South East coast of Ireland and Company Director, Alan Keyes, as founder and sponsor of the Glen Fuels Wexford GAA Player of the Year Awards, says that he is privileged to be associated with the marvellous sportsmen and women of County Wexford. Alan is delighted, in particular, to be honouring the three in a row U/21 Leinster Hurling Champions and World Handball Champions.
The 2016 Glen Fuels Wexford GAA Player of the Year Awards will be co-hosted by former RTE Presenter and Wexford Ambassador Anne Doyle and All-Ireland winner and Media Panelist Tom Dempsey, with South East Radio Sports Presenter Liam Spratt conducting interviews with the winners.
This glitzy event, that spares no attention to detail, has raised the bar in Wexford GAA and elevated the status of our outstanding young players – male and female, nationally and internationally.
The Glen Fuels Wexford GAA Player of the Year Awards is an exciting opportunity for all supporters of Wexford GAA to recognise and celebrate the talent, skills and achievements of all of our playing members at both club and county level.
Five nominations are selected by an independent panel of judges from local press and media in the categories: Senior Hurling, Senior Football, U/21 Hurling, U/21 Football, Camogie, Ladies’ Football and Handball.
The voting lines are open to the public– who will ultimately decide who takes home the Glen Fuels Wexford GAA Player of the Year Award in his and her respective category – until midnight March 3rd 2016.

At the official event launch on Friday January 29th 2016 at the Riverside Hotel, Enniscorthy, Wexford Supporters Club Chairman Des Croke congratulated the players’ success and thanked Alan Keyes and Glen Fuel Services Ltd., for their creative thinking, interest and support that has done so much to benefit Wexford GAA.
