Electric Ireland GAA Hurling All-Ireland Minor Championship Quarter-Final:
Galway 4-20 Wexford 2-11
Just as their seniors did against Kilkenny in the Leinster final, Galway made the perfect start to this minor quarter-final in Tullamore and were 2-4 to 0-1 ahead inside 10 minutes.
That lead was extended to 2-15 to 0-4 at half-time, with Michael Mullins leading the way with a fine performance for the Tribesmen.
Wexford came back strongly at the start of the second half, scoring 1-3 without reply, including a fine goal by Conor McDonald.
However, a third Galway goal, scored by Adrian Morrissey, ended the game as a contest, although Donal Shanley did respond in kind for the Slaneysiders.
Jason Flynn added a fourth goal for the Tribesmen, as they ran out comfortable winners and sealed their place in the final four
