For the last number of years our Ofigeach na Gaeilge Tony Dempsey has run and organised an Irish Scholarship in conjuction with Coiste na nOg in the Gaeltacht in Cholaiste Aodáin, Over 12 young people from clubs around the county a picked from a competition entry every year and sent to the Gaeltacht for a fun packed week long stay at the most popular college in the Gaeltacht and also improve there fluency in our irish language.
