Freshtoday are delighted to once again be the main sponsor of Hurling 365 for the 2024-2025 school year.
This will be the most exciting year to date with amazing prizes and a chance for the community to get involved.
Freshtoday Hurling 365 will be running a county-wide skills test competition in participating schools from November 2024 to January 2025, covering five different skills.
Some legends of hurling have decided to take part in getting this fantastic initiative off the ground, with well-known names lending their support and commitment to this skills competition.
The Finals night will take place in Chadwicks Wexford Park under the floodlights on February 27th, 2025, where the winning child from each school will compete for the chance to be named Freshtoday Hurling 365 Skills Competition Champion.
The following prizes are on offer:
- Overall Winning Child: A 3-night stay for a family of 4 at Centre Parcs Longford.
- Overall Winning Teacher: 2 tickets to see Oasis in Croke Park.
- Club/School Link Officer: All participating Club/School Officers will be entered into a draw and the winner will receive two All-Ireland tickets.
This is a great opportunity to get your school involved and to encourage children to ‘hurl away, every day’.
Please see below your invitation to the Freshtoday Hurling 365 Skills Competition Launch on Friday October 11th at 7:00pm in Clayton Whites Hotel, Wexford.
On the night, we will take you through a brief overview of the Freshtoday Hurling 365 initiative and each of the skills involved, and the expectations from schools & clubs. This will include a short video presentation.
There will also be some notable guest speakers, and a reaction skills challenge on the night. Light bites and other refreshments will be served.
