The Wexford senior football team will hold an Open Night in Bellefield GAA Complex on Thursday next May 24th. (Changed from Wed. in Wexford Park due to on-going pitch maintenance)
We are inviting supporters of all ages but especially children to attend this event. Please arrive for 6.15pm so that the fun and games can start at at latest 6.30pm. This will include penalty shoot out against Anthony Masterson & Tom Hughes, Test your free taking against Ciaran Lyng and Ben Brosnan, mixed mini games where the children and the players mix and mingle, free posters and more.
There will be plenty of opportunity to get autographs and photos with your heroes. Then at 7.05 sharp the players will start a full public training session in preparation for their Leinster Championship game against either Laois or Longford on June 3rd in Croke Park. So stay on, cheer them on and see what a fully fledged modern Inter county training session looks like! This really is a great opportunity to see the ‘behind the scenes’ preparations!
We’re encouraging supporters, parents and clubs to turn up and show your support for our fantastic senior football team and give the children this opportunity to meet and get photos with the team.
