Feile season got under way over the weekend with the qualifying rounds and division 1 and 2 semi-finals of the Football. Division 1 Semi Finalists winners were Naomh Eanna who beat Shellmaliers 5-5 to 1-3 and St Martins who beat Starlights 5-10 to 0-1. Division 2 Semi Finalist winners were Bunclody who over came Gusserane by 1-7 to 0-9 and St Annes who beat Monageer 2-10 to 0-0. Finals date to follow shortly.
This Saturday 7th its the turn of the Feile hurlers. Contesting in Division 1 Group A is Faythe Harriers, Shellmaliers and St Martins in Pairc Charman and in Group B is Naomh Eanna, Rapparees, Craanford in Craanford Both Semi Finals are at 4pm in Paric Charman . In Division 2 Group A is Geraldine O Hans, Rath/Ctown, Taghmon and Horeswood in Taghmon. In Groupn B is Cloughbawn, Bunclody, Rathnure and Ferns venue Bunclody. Group C Volunteers, St Annes, Blackwater, and Oylegate venue Rathangan. Group D Crossabeg, Glynn Barntown, Monageer and Oulart venue Oulart. Semi Finals in Taghmon and Bunclody at 4pm.
