Details are currently being finalised with both Féile na nGael and Féile Peil na nÓg host committees. To confirm some details:
Féile na nGael
Dates: Friday June 17th to Sunday, June 19th
Host Counties: Tipperary and Waterford
No of Hurling Divisions: 10
No of Camogie Divisions: 5
Féile Peil na nÓg
Dates: Friday June 24th to Sunday June 26th.
Host Counties: Kerry, West Limerick, North-West Cork
No of Boys Football Divisions: 10
No of Girls Football Divisions: 5
At present there are approximately 80 host teams for each of boys hurling and gaelic football, with approximately 40 camogie and 40 ladies gaelic football hosts. Both Camogie and the Ladies Gaelic Football Association are finalising their grading. These numbers are being finalised currently.
Because of the number of host clubs, there will be a minimum of 2 places allocated for each visiting county For boys teams, for both Féile na nGael and Féile na nÓg.
Counties are asked to nominate the winners of both your A and B internal Féile competition. If you only have a single internal Féile competition, please let me know as soon as possible. Due to the number of host clubs, there will be the opportunity for some counties to nominate a 3rd team. This will be communicated directly to those affected Counties.
In Féile Peil na nÓg, there will be a number of divisions composed of 13 or 11-a-side teams. It will be necessary for those visiting Counties with teams participating in these divisions to nominate 13 or 11-a-side teams.
