A new winter hurling league has just been launched, the initiative of Pat Hennebry (Faythe Harriers) nd Liam Pettit (Our Ladys Island) this League will run over the winter months. This is the first time such a competition has been organised and it is hoped that the other districts will follow suite as the idea has great potential to keep club players active and engaged over the winter months. The extra time spent hurling will of course stand to the players and their skill development, a bonus come championship time. We are hoping to get a title sponsor for this league – if interested please get in contact.
