A Craig McCabe (free) and a Barry O’Connor on target kick sees Wexford snatched a well-deserved victory over Dublin
This Paul McLoughlin side which includes a new balance of experience and youth, led by 1-9 to 0-6 at half-time thanks to an early opening goal by Captain Daiti Waters which put Wexford into the Driving seat up to the late stages of the 2nd half, Until Dublin’s Kevin Callaghan looked to have won it for the Dubs from a free to go 1 point ahead in the dying stages, But Wexford kept battling on and took advantage of a free from the half forward line to equalize and it was left to Barry O’Connor to put a well-deserved win to bed
