The Wexford County Council Covid 19 Community Call Helpline is open from 8am – 8pm, 7 days a week.
You will note the recent COVID-19 public health advice to the elderly and more vulnerable to stay at home and to ask neighbours, relations and friends to help with delivery of groceries etc.
This is likely to result in increased calls to the Wexford Community Forum Helpline 053 919 6000 for assistance, and a corresponding increase in requests to GAA club volunteers and other community organisations for help with deliveries of fuel, food and pharmacy items.
Here at Wexford County Council we will continue to operate the Helpline, 8am to 8pm, 7 days per week and we ask that your many volunteers continue to do as you have done for months now in the delivery of these essential items.
As always, if you have any queries, please do not hesitate to contact me, by email or by mobile at any time, if you need any advice or assistance or any kind of support in the coming weeks. On behalf of Wexford County Council and the entire Community Forum I thank you for your invaluable support and we look forward to continuing to work with you in supporting those most vulnerable in every community throughout County Wexford.
