County Convention 2024 will take place on Monday December 2nd in Clayton Whites Hotel, Wexford, starting at 7 p.m. sharp.

Financially, Wexford GAA has delivered an operating surplus of €354,330, with a net surplus of €49,644 after depreciation, for the year ended 30th September 2024.
Total income was up slightly to €3.2m, whereas there was a 10% increase in total expenditure. The increase in expenditure was primarily driven by inte-rcounty team costs, which saw an increase of 22% to €1.47m.
Gate receipts dropped significantly by 27% to €225,000. This is due to the County Finals in both codes were held after the end of the financial year on 30th September. Commercial income has risen again this year to €1.26m, as sponsorship and fundraising activities remain strong.
There has been an investment of just over €3m in Capital Improvement Projects, most notably the improvements in Chadwicks Wexford Park, Halo Tiles Wexford GAA Centre of Excellence and Samaritans St Patrick’s Park with significant grant money received to cover the majority of these costs.
There has been an investment in Coaching and Games and the Hurling High Performance Plan amounting to almost €500k.
At Convention, Cathaoirleach Micheál Martin and Treasurer Andrew Nolan will finish in their roles and be replaced by John Kenny and Brian McDonald respectively.
