This years Coiste na nÓg Loch Garman Convention takes place on Monday night 7th December, we hope to see all underage Club secretary’s, Chairpersons and club reps on the night as we prepare for the new 2016 season
Motions put forward by clubs for the convention include:
Fixtures Motions
1. To ensure that teams do not exit the competition at too early a stage the CCCC proposes a Championship and Shield format at Premier Minor grade ,both codes, to work as follows :-
Teams finishing 1st and 2nd in League stage to Championship S/F’s
Championship Q/F’s Team 3 v 6 (M1) and Team 4 v 5 (M2)
Championship S/F’s Team 1 v Winner M2 and Team 2 v Winner M1
Shield S/F’s Team 8 v Loser M1 and Team 7 v Loser M2 S/F’s

2.At the discretion of the CCCC from the 2nd weekend in September Shield Q/F’s and S/F’s will not be delayed by adult Championship fixtures where both competing clubs have a maximum of 2 players involved with their adult team. In such cases clubs to decide which club team the young player plays with so that minor fixture can proceed : CCC Coiste na nÓg Loch Garman
3.To increase fixture options and decrease the possibility of clashes between adult and minor fixtures Shield Q/F’s and S/F’s can be played at neutral venues after 31st August if CCCC so decree : CCC Coiste na nÓg Loch Garman
4. Shield Hurling matches can be played under lights if necessary and where possible : CCC Coiste na nÓg Loch Garman
5. We propose that there is more liaison and co-operation between the Adult CCC / Coiste na nÓg CCC and District Fixtures in order to ensure that a gap of least 24 hours exists between Championship matches for the same club when minors are involved : St. Abban’s Adamstown
6. We propose that all underage finals are played within a maximum of 3 weeks of their semi-final date. (Recommendation)

7. CCCC have the authority to change the policy if necessary in relation to the playing of Minor Premier Finals (both codes).

8. All premier and first division finals should be played in Innovate Wexford Park. (Recommendation) St. Martin’s
9. That where official fixture are made by the CCC, such fixtures must be adhered to. If for some reasons, it is necessary to change a game from the official fixture the following will apply
- Club Secretary must inform the CCC Secretary: via email seeking permission for a postponement with a valid reason including a confirmed re-fixture date and have the agreement of the opposing club.
- The CCC must be notified 5 days prior to any proposed change.
- The CCC Secretary will inform the relevant parties via email if permission for the proposed postponement is granted or refused.
(If granted)
- Club who postpone a match in round 1 must be re-fix before round 3, postponements from Rd 2 to be played by Rd 4, and so on, up to second last round in each division.
- Concede home advantage and pay referee for the re-fixture.
- The club who postpones the fixture must inform the referee.
- Teams seeking postponement forfeit points if fixtures are not played by deadline. CCC will not re-arrange postponements on behalf of any club and clubs who do not adhere to the above rule will lose the points
NB:
- Postponements in exceptional circumstances may be postponed by the CCC eg: family bereavement which covers parents, grandparents, brothers and sisters

10. We propose that where a team is amalgamated from 2 or more clubs, that the amount of passes for semi finals and finals are increased by 4 to accommodate both clubs : St. Abbans Adamstown
11. Team lists to be submitted to Coiste na nÓg PRO, 4 clear days before game
excluding day of game, eg. team lists for Sunday final to be submitted by 5.00pm
on Wednesday. Failure to comply with above will result in team list being omitted
from programme.
