The Cairde Loch Garman Club Player Awards for the 2021 season sponsored by Glen Fuels will take place on Sunday, 23 January 2022 at 7pm. The event will be a virtual awards night, similar to last year, and will be streamed on Wexford GAA TV.
The final decision on who makes the team will be split between a public vote and the selection panel. All those who purchase a link to view the event on Wexford GAA TV will be sent a link to vote for their Player of the Year and to select the hurling and football Teams of the Year. As an added bonus, all those who purchase the link will be entered into a draw for two Club Season Passes for the 2022 Club Championship. The deadline for voting is Thursday, 20 January 2022.

Micheál Martin, Chairperson Wexford GAA announced,
This event provides an important opportunity to recognise the achievements of our club players in 2021. As clubs and players plan for the 2022 season, it gives us a chance to reflect on the highs and lows of last year’s club season, the ecstasy, the heartbreak and the sublime. Both our hurling and football championships provided unrivalled entertainment for those in attendance and watching online. We hope that the event itself will be an enjoyable evening for all our members. I would especially like to acknowledge our sponsors of the event, Glen Fuels and the organising committee.
Four players have been nominated for each position by our panel of Wexford GAA TV commentators from the 2021 championship. As the majority of games broadcast in 2021 were from the Pettit’s Supervalu Senior Hurling Championship and the Dominic Smith Expert Electrical Senior Football Championship, the nominations are predominately for senior players.
Alan Keyes, Glen Fuels, expressed
On behalf of everybody at Glen Fuels, I’d like to say how delighted we are to continue our association with Wexford GAA and the Cairde Loch Garman Player of the Year Awards. The awards celebrate the club players from the four corners of the county. The club game is the heart and soul of the GAA and we are proud of our continued involvement. We most sincerely thank everybody at Wexford GAA for the opportunity to continue our sponsorship of the Wexford GAA Player of the Year Awards, a sponsorship that started in 2013 and one that we hope will continue in the years ahead.
