BUFFERS ALLEY POKER CLASSIC 2016
This year’s Poker Classic will take place on Tuesday 27thDecember in the Buffers Alley Clubhouse at 8pm. The Classic has been running for almost ten years and has become a firm favourite with card players over the Christmas season. Over €1600 was the total prize money given out on the night making it the biggest poker purse in Wexford.
Last year over eighty card sharks took part with Eamonn Kenny emerging as the overall winner. All the finalists will receive complimentary admission to this year’s event.
The final placings were Eamonn Kenny, Angela Butler, Pat Donnellan, Tom Murphy, Cecil Willoughby and Séamus Kenny. David Hughes got the first Poker but there was no Straight Flush or Royal Flush.
Hammell’s Centra, Kilmuckridge will kindly sponsor a door prize on the night and we’d like to thank them for their continued support.
Ticket costing €20, are now available from club members or you can pay at the door. Refreshments will be served at half time and the bar will be running promotions on the night.
