We’re really looking forward to the St Patrick’s weekend extravaganza of sport in Wexford, the centrepiece of which is the hurling and football doubleheader in Wexford Park. The hurlers take on Limerick while the footballers face Roscommon and we’re hoping for a win on the double.
We plan to make this an exciting event for all the family and we’re urging everyone to come along and make ‘The Park’ a sea of Purple and Gold. There will be face painting for children, prizes for the best dressed supporter (wear your colours, kids bring your hurl!) and Bui Bolg will be there to add their own touch of drama. We’re celerbrating all things Wexford and will be presenting Wexford’s latest All Ireland Camogie Champions – Oulart-the-Ballagh and champion Wexford boxer and Olympic hopeful, Adam Nolan to the crowd.
We’re hoping for good weather and a big crowd, so come and ‘set the heather blazing’ this St Patrick’s weekend and help bring the feel good factor back to Wexford Park!
