Ballynastragh Gaels GAA club hosted a football blitz day in glorious sunshine for the first class children of Bunscoil Loreto Gorey, Educate Together Gorey, Gorey Central School and Gaelscoil Moshiolog Guaire at the Tara Rocks GAA pitch. Some excellent football skills on show and great effort put in by almost 200 kids. This was part of the urban development project undertaken by Ballynastragh Gaels GAA club in conjunction with Leinster GAA and an attempt to provide more Gaelic Games opportunities for children outside of their schools where they receive weekly coaching from Ballynastragh Gaels Games Promotion Officer Frank Devereux. Huge thanks to all that gave their time to make it such an enjoyable experience for the kids.
