Party with Wexford Senior Hurling team this Easter and be in with a chance to win the trip of a lifetime to Dubai!
The countdown is on for the Back to the 80’s Party on Easter Saturday in Clayton Whites Hotel and Wexford’s hurlers are already getting excited!
Every year, Wexford Senior Hurling team undertakes fundraising to contribute to the high costs of training. This year they have teamed up with Lantern to provide a fun-filled retro night, with all proceeds going to their training fund.
Captain, Lee Chin, explains, “In order for us to perform and compete at the highest level, we need to train at the highest level. Each year, we are faced with the task of fundraising and funds raised go towards the costs of our training. So events such as these enable us to reach the standards that we hold ourselves to every day.”
Conor McDonald commented: “The training fund is massive to us as a team because it allows us to train at the highest level. It was pretty cool to hear that this year we are doing something very different for the training fund. It’s a night for adults of all ages and I’m sure it’ll be a great night.”
‘Europe’s Premier Goodtime Supergroup’, Spring Break, will be in charge of the tunes on the night and are renowned for their performances at epic parties. Followed by a DJ, there’s sure to be plenty of dancing. This is a night not to be missed, jam-packed with favourite hits!
Every ticket purchased will also be entered into a massive draw with the chance to win some seriously impressive prizes. The top prize is an amazing trip for two people to Dubai. The winner will be announced on the night.
Lee, Conor and the rest of the Wexford Senior Hurling team will be there on the night to get involved in all of the fun and meet supporters. “We are always very grateful for the support of people both on the pitch and at our fundraising events. We are looking forward to meeting everyone on the night”, said Lee.

Back to the 80’s Party is on Saturday 8th of April in Clayton Whites Hotel and tickets are €25 each. This event is strictly over 18’s.
