ANOTHER EXCITING GAA SEASON SPRINGS TO TG4 SCREENS
TG4 has now finalised the schedule of GAA matches which the station will broadcast over the coming months, starting with live and deferred coverage of next Sunday’s Round 1 matches in the Allianz Football League.
GAA Beo will provide a live and deferred GAA match from the Allianz Leagues each Sunday over the coming months. Next Sunday, (3rd February) on TG4, sees All-Ireland finalists Mayo take on Kerry, followed by the Galway v Derry match.
In addition to the Allianz Leagues, TG4 will also screen exclusive live coverage of all the big GAA matches from other top competitions including:
– AIB All Ireland Club Championship Semi-Finals and Finals
– Allianz Hurling & Football League Finals
– Cadbury All-Ireland U-21 Football Final
– Irish daily Mail Sigerson & Fitzgibbon Cup Finals
– Ladies Football League Finals
(A full calendar of TG4 matches is given below).
Highlights from the weekends GAA matches will be available on TG4’s weekly and very popular Monday night programme GAA 2013 at 8:30pm.
GAA fans can also stay up to date and preview weekend action on Friday nights on Seó Spóirt, now in its seventh year – starting back on Friday evening next (1st February). The weekly studio series is presented by former Kerry captain Dara Ó Cinnéide and he will be joined by Paul Galvin and Evanne Ní Chuilinn.
Rónán Ó Coisdealbha, TG4 Sports Editor said “Spring brings hope for all Gaelic games followers as the triumphs and disappointments of last season melt away and new ambitions and dreams of glory raise the spirits for the coming year. The Allianz Leagues and other Spring competitions are a new beginning for both the established teams and the new contenders. All will be vying for a positive start to the year’s work. It is a mouth-watering prospect for us all,” he said.
