Good Counsel College added another All Ireland title to their trophy cabinet today when they retained the Masita All Ireland junior football A title.
They defeated St Brendans of Kilarney on a scoreline of 2-12 to 3-7 in a hard fought game in Clonmel.
Centre forward Thomas O’Connor contributed 2-6 of the total score including converting two penalties one either side of half time.
Today’s title adds to the Junior hurling title won already this year.
A remarkable year for the school and adds to the reputation as one of the major GAA colleges in the country.
